Indian Residential Schools Settlement

The Indian residential schools settlement has been approved by the Courts.  The settlement includes former students of recognized residential schools in Canada and their family members.  This includes Aboriginal people from First Nations, Inuit, Inuvialuit, and Métis communities.  Those who resided at the schools and family members, including grandparents and grandchildren of former students, are all included in the settlement, but may be eligible for different benefits.
